Zacha opened the scoring early in the game with a SHG to give the Devils lead and never looked back. Taylor Hall had 4 points in the game, 2g and 2a. His 2 goals came in 72 seconds. Palmeri had 3 points and both players were in on each other's goals. Duchene had 2 goals for the Senators. Anderson was pulled after forty minutes. It was a fast paced 2nd period as both teams tied for shots at 14-14.

Same time, same place, and same result as the Capitals win a close one again over the Sabres. The only difference was that it was in reg time unlike 6 days earlier when it was in the SO. Stepenson opened the scoring for the Caps early in the 2nd period with a SHG and Holtby made 36 saves. The PK was perfect by both teams going 4/4 each, but that didn't help the Sabres win just like last Friday's where they were 4/4 on the PK.

Great game here and thanks Bhawks for doing many teams a favour by beating the Avs! The Bhawks used their 4th string goalie and in his first NHL game he made 35 saves. Anisimov with the GWG 79 seconds into the 3rd period. Great PK in this game too as both teams combined were 8/8. The Bhawks are on the upswing in the past six games going 4-1-1 and are now 7 points back of the 8th place Oilers. The Avs loss keeps them 4 point back for 1st place in the west.
