I thought that it was self evident -- sort of like a team wouldn't accomplish much with Dougie Hamilton as an important player -- that the Canadian teams have been substandard for the last while and that this season to date has been an anomaly for fans of Canadian teams to enjoy
Since the 2010-11 season right up to last year: 6 seasons - 540 regular season games, the most winning Canadian team was Montreal.... they won as many games as they lost and ranked 14th in wins in the league over that 6 year period.
