yeah the truth is probably somewhere in between
as a group they are 22 games over .500 (for this exercise counting OTL and L as L's so what some would call 'real' .500), which is pretty good
3 of the 4 best goal differential teams are in Canada
so top end is doing great. all teams are at least competitive , none are lousy (although a few might still end up there by year's end especially if selling and or tanking factors in)
