Not me.  In fact, Christmas day is a regular work day here in Japan  - though I am taking the day off  . That said, there is a nice side benefit (as New Year's doubles as Christmas here in Japan) - I work Tuesday and Wednesday this week and our office is closed until January 4. And the 5th is a Friday - so I'm taking that off to get a nice long break  . Looking at friends itineraries, as well, for whatever reason a lot of my friends are not in Calgary, so it's not all that bad. Also considering that I had my mom visit last summer, other friends coming out here for the holidays and my sister and brother looking like they'll be making a trip in the spring - I'm not sure I really need to go back home to catch up with everyone!
The one thing I will miss is the WJC's. The annual New Year's sumo tourney is nowhere near as interesting...
