Do I like concussions in the NHL? really? Of course not. It's also worth noting that there are more concussions from body checks than there are fights.
As for the hit... if you can say for certain that they didn't plan on this ahead of time as I believe Pierre aludes to from last playoffs then perhaps it was uncalled for.
The Caps are breaking out, 2 pens below the line so essentially a 5 on 3 and Oleksiak, a d man, goes out of his way to step up on the play leaving a 4 on 2 if the play goes on. It just seems there is much more to all of this.
If Bieksa steps up on a flame and Ferland goes after him we are all praising Ferland. Nothing was dirty about any of this play but because of Wilsons history, people can try to make it seem dirty.
