Bogus. If it's a business from a GM's point of view, why shouldn’t it be a business from the players point of view? Player's should, and rightfully so, sign contracts for whatever they think they're worth. I understand taking a discount to help the team, but if TOR is offering 12M/year and someone else is offering 16M/year, AM would be a little bit of an idiot not to sign the offersheet.
