It's quite possible that Fletcher decided to fire Hakstol after our game, but given they were in the middle of a three in four stretch on the road, held off on making his plans known until the team returned to Philly.

Or, as it turned out, until the team's plane took off from Vancouver. The leak yesterday happened while the Flyers were in the air.

Oh, absolutely.

I correlate the following events of demise to the Flames this monster season. If not entire credit, then at least reasonable credit for several other organizations looking in the mirror and needing to act

- Quenneville firing from Chicago (last opponents Flames)
- McLellan firing from the Oil (after the Vegas game sequence)
- Arizona post game same day trades
- Hakstol firing on Philly road trip where Calgary’s 3 goals in 1:42 tie and win in OT

Calgary breaks the NHL 2018-19.

You heard it here first
