Here is the full season leaderboard for age 35 defensemen. Giordano is already in 26th. Bourque and Lidstrom were the only ones at a point per game, Zubov was close. This list is all-time but it's basically 2 guys from the '60s (Pilote & Stanley), 2 from the '80s (Park & Robinson) and the rest are '90s and later.
