Gaudreau is the best at rushing the puck, yes, but if I want to clear the puck out of the defensive zone against pressure, the guys I am putting out there are
- Tkachuk on the left wall, Bennett, maybe Jankowski
- Bennett, Backlund. maybe Lindholm but I haven't seen him there enough to know
- Lindholm on the right wall, Bennett, maybe Jankowski,
Right now Backlund is not part of the lineup. And again, putting Bennett in a stationary position on the walls takes his speed away. So I don't actually want to put Bennett on the wing.

I don't see this poor positioning you are talking about. His positioning in the defensive zone is very good. Not Backlund-good, but he's also 22, not 29.
As for faceoffs, not only are they a small aspect especially at 5 on 5, but that's a bizarre criticism for a guy who leads the team in FO% at 64.2
