Tkachuk doesn't have players that are getting him the puck to draw those penalties. It is hard to draw a penalty when you aren't the puck carrier or in the middle of the play. Bennett's first instinct when he gets the puck is to try and beat everyone on the ice in a glorious end-to-end rush. He rarely gets the puck and tries to make a heady pass to one of his linemates. This hurts Tkachuk because he is a guy that finds the open ice and forces defenders to take penalties trying to prevent a five star scoring opportunity. As good a distributor of the puck as Tkachuk is, he needs someone to get him the puck for him to be effective in the first place.
