Hopefully Peters isn't shy about throwing the bottom 9 in a blender. Could be a big opportunity for a number of players. Sometimes an injury is a blessing in disguise if a depth player takes a step forward with more ice time.
The big X factor in this is the goaltending. Good teams find a way to keep winning when they've got injuries, but I think more often than not that falls to the goalie. If Smith is on his game, we can definitely win on the back of the first line, first PP unit, and good goaltending.
I'd bet on seeing more fluid D pairs as well. If I'm Peters, I'd be double-shifting Brodie with Kylington throughout the game, similar to what Quenneville did in the Hawks last cup win. Probably also rotate Hanifin and Hamonic in as well.
