So on point. Exhibit A: Ten Foot Henry and essentially every restaurant <10 years old on 17th ave.

I also think its true that the noise encourages more drinking. I distinctly remember ordering an extra drink at the Calcutta Yelling Club just because my throat was going hoarse after an hour of attempting to have a discussion with company.
