Within 3 months it wasn't as edgy...6 months even less so, and a year, it was mainsteam "classic" rock with some edgier stuf sprinkled in.
I suspect the same will happen here..make a big noise about being different, and an alternative at the start and make fun of other stations playlists....but when the initial buzz wears down, and hard BBM numbers start rolling in and the "alternative" crowd that they are trying to target aren't tuning in as thought (which allows them to set ad rates accordingly), changes will have to be made to appeal a little more mainstream audience/advertisers, nevermind the CanCon considerations.

I dont think that will happen here, playing NEW less mainstream rock music is different than playing the B sides of albums from the 70s. Music today is better than ever before...so many bands that it is almsot too much.
