Seriously if that was Lindholm behind Monahan like probably thought, he likely scores without any problem and Monahan is a hero. Maybe Hanifin should have not just fired it into feet. He stops, glides over a bit and has an open net. Or maybe Monahan gets deflected as well. I bet Backlund and Peters are madder at the non call than Monahan trying to get a buddy a hat trick.
We all agree Monahan needed to be selfish. But the two goal lead likely affected his thinking too.
