before the season and success of the top line, that would have been how I envisioned the top two lines. I think Neal needs a playmaker like Gaudreau to set him up, and Lindholm gives Tkachuk a more offensive centerman
temporarily splitting the top line, if Backs is out, gives some balance to the top 6, plus they will still have PP time together
line juggling like this probably doesn't happen until a losing streak or run of bad hockey
