The stadium layout is so unique because they intend to continue using it for show jumping as well. Which probably makes this one of the most interesting dual purpose stadiums in the world.
On the pricing front, I suspect the Southerns are looking at strong corporate support for their show jumping endeavours and are dramatically over estimating how well that will transfer to soccer.
