Deep organizations could easily make that deal and would be happy to do it. I would easily part with a package of Monahan, Hanifin, 1st, 2nd, Bennett, Parsons without blinking an eye. Having said that the Flames are deep. They would still have Gaudreau, Tkachuk, Lindholm, Backlund, Gio, Brodie, Hamonic, Valimaki which is still a far deeper lineup than the Oilers currently surround McDavid with.

I don't think this return is all that close to what Eric Lindros netted, which was my point.

I know that deal would never happen but the Oilers could get a package like that from a lot of teams in the league if they moved McDavid

Like I said, I don't think it could happen, and I will only believe it when I see it. The pressure on the Oilers would be so intense that it would likely require more than any team could reasonably afford to move in order to complete a deal. Moreover, I think the only possible scenario in which McDavid would be moved is one in which he would insist to be traded. This would almost certainly dramatically reduce the value of any possible return.
