Personally, I think Tkachuk has more impact, but then again, I'm a Flames fan.

Nylander: drafted 8th overall in 2014
D+1: AHL
D+2: AHL/NHL 13P, 22G, 0.59PPG
D+3: 61P, 81G, 0.75PPG
D+4: 61P, 82G, 0.74PPG
Total: 135P, 185G, 0.73PPG (in 4 years)
Tkachuk: drafted 6th overall in 2016
D+1: 48P, 76G, 0.63PPG
D+2: 49P, 68G, 0.72PPG
D+3: 29P, 26G, 1.12PPG pace
Total: 126P, 170G, 0.74PPG in 2.3 years
Even if Tkachuk drops back to a 0.74PPG pace for the rest of the season, he will still finish this year with 70 pts, which is significantly better than Nylander's D+4 year. (If he stays on his current pace, he'll finish with 91 pts)
On points alone, it really isn't much of a contest. And when we consider how much more Tkachuk brings to the table, it's no contest at all. (even if you're a Leafs fan)
