Anderssons showed on multiple occasions he is a great skater. No, he's not on Hanifin or Kylingtons or Brodies level (who are top of the league level elite skaters) but he won more than a few races to pucks and can get back to break up some quality chances. Ive seen it with me own eyes. He's also broke into the offensive zone with a lot of speed pushing defenders back.
Thing that I find is an actual critique about Andersson is that he seems to leaves the boards at the blue line way ahead of schedule. It's a common occurance to see a pass back up the boards to the blue line and Anderssons in the middle of the ice.
I don't know why this happens so regularly.
