However. it will push Denver to the higher echelon of teams in the league. Yes, Iverson has been deemed as a selfish player his entire pro career. But he has never played with anyone remotely considered a #2 option. Stackhouse, an old Derrick Coleman (however, had great stats, but wasn't a difference in the game), Larry Hughes before his breakout season in Washington, Aaron Mckie, Eric Snow and a rickety, Chris Webber. They are capable of being great teammates. Now Iverson has a superstar to pass to, who will score, who he will trust with the ball. Iverson NEVER trusted his previous teammates. I don't applaud him for it, but it's the truth. He will trust Carmelo. Co-exsisting is half the battle; It will not take long to overcome that.

Allen Iverson, I believe, will be the one who takes a backseat to Mello. That bolded statement sums up why. He was a very selfish, immature player is his earlier years, but he's definitely matured. His assists have soared the last couple years. Chemistry will be an issue this season, but next season, watch out.
The reason he shot so much in Philly was because there was no one else who could shoot. The offense was revolved around him, and he got most of the shots -- as such, he was deemed a ballhog.
On the Philly side, they have no scorer now. They have no one who can be depended on to score more than 20 pts in each game. It's scary bad.
Draft season can't come soon enough.
