According to my numbers: If you by a 24 pack of coke from Walmart at $4.97 it means you are paying .000583 cents per ml of coke.
If you buy the 2L bottle for .99 cents a bottle, it works out to .000495 cents per ml. So the two litre bottle is still the best deal.
The problem is you usually have to drink the whole 2 L bottle within a day or two of opening it. The cans are good if you don't drink much.
