I like it when they plow the roads, and then leave a 2 foot ridge between that and the pedestrian crossing, then just leave it until a chinook rolls through. They do it at the Memorial and 7th st crossing all the time, some days people have to hurdle jump over it it is so high. And forget riding it, so you better be on the ball for the 15 seconds you have to cross 2 snow mounds and 2 lanes of traffic. But hey, at least the cars don't have to worry about snow in their lane!
