This speaks more to the standard he's set for himself more than anything, but he really hasn't been anything but average this year. And average is not even close to good enough for the Packers. McCarthy being fired will give them a spark for sure, but given his massive new extension is about to kick in, surely there's some serious worry about Rodgers and whether he'll be just another top QB rather than a guy who single handily makes them a threat.
