The history nerd in me hasnt been happier. So many awesome moments and I've barely progressed. I have it set on discovery mode and rarely use the eagle. I tried to do everything I could on Kefalonia before finally setting sail the first time, so immersive.
I had no idea there would be so many historical characters and senerios. I didn't play Origins, in fact this is my first AC game, so I think it's been an even more special experience. Can't recommend it enough, especially if you have even a passing interest in Ancient Greece.
Edit: And just to add to the topic of game fatigue, I find Odyssey is great as a break from other games. Throw it on, play a couple side missions, maybe advance the main one a hit and then play something else. I find it's really kept my interest, hasn't got repetitive (yet?).
