I just don't feel the need to belittle them.
there is often two people from some religion that stand near the train station I use with a rack of pamphlets. they don't preach or bother people, but just stand there saying hi, and hope people come to them.
I don't mind them and often say hi back. it bugs me when I occasionally see an adult mock them. (I can cut dumb kids some slack)
sometimes atheists can't keep their mouths shut, either.
