Two games in on the second line, with increased ice time, and Bennett's stat line is:
Averaging 16mins, 1G, 1A, +1, 7 PIM (primarily from fighting a neanderthal), 2 power play points, 5 shots, 6 hits.
He's played against the McDavid line and the Marchessault line in those two games, and done very well in both.
So yea, I'd say he's more than earned his keep. If Peters keeps him on that second line, I'm going to predict we see late November to mid December 2017 Bennett make an appearance. 14GP, 13 points.
