Honestly the CG doesn't bother me at all. Atlantis looks pretty cool and the under water battle looks fun to watch.
But the characterization of Aquaman and just the over-dramatized story has me saying no thanks. They're really hammering home the "outcast comes home to be king" trope. Which I'm sure is a vital part of his story, but to play it up so hard in the marketing, I dunno, it feels tired I guess. Sort of felt the same way about Venom.
