Sarcasm is very hard to detect through written text on a message board. It isn’t like verbal communication where there are audible clues and body language cues to help detect it. Which is why we have a tradition of using green text on this site to spell it out. I even asked if people were being sarcastic. First person to reply didn’t seem to be. 2nd person? Probably was being sarcastic but you can’t tell for sure.
