I have always been on the side of wanting to keep roughness in the game, but saturday night was a prime example of where it was in the flames best interest to not engage. It has less to do with the situation and more to do with the personnel.

and lucic and kassian are both so bad that it is in any opponents best interest to leave them out on the ice. You take a PP if you can get it but you don't worry about evening things up with those guys. Any shift either of those guys takes basically works out to getting a 5 on 4.5 every single shift because of how slow and bad at hockey they both are.
I do think that we need to send a message as Tkachuk and Johnny were the only ones who truly got cheapshotted in the entire game and peluso should line up next to kassian to start next game
