I'm not sure what the Flames can do. You take a retaliation penalty at that point in the game and the Oilers score it's game over. I think the officials simply have to do their job and call that. It's not like you can really embellish a hit head first into the boards so I'm at a loss to why that wasn't called. As was said if that was McDavid taking that hit the Oilers would have gone crazy and TSN would have shown that hit in their highlight packages and there would be chatter about a possible suspension for the Flames player.
