Thanks, the whole Cylon's in the gods images makes sense to me since they were created by humans, they would logically build thier human concepts from the gods of thier creators. It also seemed likely based on the fact that the Human's have multiple gods, and its logical at that point, and based on the myths that we heard so far that they were the Greek or Roman gods. There is an interesting role reversal here that the human's who worship multiple gods are fleeing from a race that suppossedly worships one god, and Moses (Baltar) is leading them.

As I was watching Anders I was thinking it was a pretty ridiculous scenario . . . . but, as I said above, I know men and women like him in real life as do most of you as well. Ridiculous yes. Improbable, sadly no.
Ander's death has to represent rock bottom to Starbuck if he does indeed die. He seems like a good man, and almost pure in his passion for her. Hopefully it will lead to redemption for her, because if she gets angry about it, or ignores it, her character will truly be lost.

Then Galactica lost communication with the surface for months . . . . the kid wouldn't have been logged as a returnee in a survey when people were brought back up. Did Adama simply assume the kid was dead at that point. Did he assume the kid had stayed on a ship the whole time? Obviously the writers want you to believe that Laura didn't tell him something she should have.
This whole thing is really confusing to me, because I remember him being involved in the decision to fake Hera's death. Did Roslin lie about her returning to the fleet? Whatever, Adama's reaction to me is confusing to me, since he had already knowingly screwed over Sharon and Helo, so his reaction to me is a bit hypocritical. Will Baltar smuggle the baby out of thier in a chance to rejoin the human race?

Baltar has always been slippery and dishonest in dealing with the human's, but been fairly honest when he dealt with the Cylon's (fear of a sudden brain hemmorage could do that). Is that relationship about to change so Baltar can refind his humanity? Is he a moses figure to the Cylon's or a judas that they don't know about.

Thats why I thought when they talked about the nova, its the old indiana jones scenario, remove the treasure and the rock falls on you. But it also goes back to the current hair trigger scenario where Adama has the missiles pointed at the temple, and the Cylon's are testing his resolve. Of all the species the Cylon's are the last group that should believe in chance or coincidence based on the fact that they are at the end of the day machines, and everything in thier perception has to break down to math.

On an added note, maybe the supernova is a key hint to the location of earth, you push the button, the sun goes nova and creates a wormhole to earth, because frankly having them going from land mark to land mark with the Cylon's in pursuit will get tiring in a hurry.

I heard that too, makes a strong argument for the greek gods theory if the Earth in the Galactica Universe is in present day. You also have to ask yourself the question, that if the 13th colony is earth, and it in present day, why do they worship one god?

Just a thought
