This is assuming Kylington is ready for a permanent spot on the Flames blueline.
I guess we then look at moving Hamonic over Hanifin?
Giordano - Brodie
Hanifin - Andersson
Valimaki - Kylington (one off wing which is fine on a 3rd pairing)
And wasn't it Hamonic's wish to stay on a Western Team?

Let's see how this shakes out. You never know who has a season ending injury, just ask Andrej Sekera in Edmonton. You never know who loses all their awareness, just ask Oskar Klefbom in Edmonton. You never know who loses all their confidence, just ask Justin Schultz about his time in Edmonton. You never know who follows up a good year with a not-so-good one, just as Darnell Nurse in Edmonton. As far as I'm concerned we have four NHL LD and four NHL RD, and the only one who's truly expendable is Stone because he's making 3.5 million to sit in the press box.
It's very possible random chance causes the pieces to fall into place, as it seems to have for Rittich's seeming ascension (Which required Lack and now Smith to play brutal hockey).
