Almost identical to you. Except I was 15 in grade 9 and it was a KRZR (the slim version of it). I remember my 15th birthday fondly for that reason.
Two years later I saved up money and bought a Blackberry Curve in grade 11. That was the best phone I ever had. BBM was mind blowing.
