My understanding is that Sam Bennett’s camp spoke with Flames GM Brad Treliving a few days ago. This issue really dates back to last season when Bennett’s role and ice time led to frustration. Other teams inquired but Treliving refused to get into that. And that remains the same today. Treliving has zero intention of trading Bennett.
