Easily should've been 3 points for Bennett, instead he picks up 0. Those 3 plays go the other way, and after 12 games Bennett's sitting at 6 points and starting to turn the corner. Instead all 3 go the other way, he's sitting at a 20 point pace instead of a 40 point pace, and that penalty shot last night is a prime example of a guy who just doesn't believe he can score.
Even if he's got stone hands for the rest of his life he's still an excellent bottom 6 player today. Sure if you can trade him for a way better player you do it, but I think his potential to start producing is higher than his value in a trade.
