I found it pretty interesting that Carolina "leaked" their all-in interest in Nylander as soon as the possibility came up. I'm sure it was to ward off others proactively by saying that they have the most attractive packages for the Leafs. You know there's always a sneaky team out there who will fly under the radar. I don't think any team overpays the Leafs for him simply because nobody wants that scrutiny while dealing with the Leafs, but I do think a team comes from nowhere and snatches him.

I'm going to completely go off the charts and say Nylander and 2nd round pick to SJ for Vlasic and a cap hit throw in.
