If Nylander was willing to sign (with anyone) for $6.5 long term that deal would have been done by now.
Though the rumor mill changes a bit each time, the consensus number is between $8 - $9 long term. The last Laff offer was rumored at $7.
You want to trade for Nylander, remember -to sign him he becomes the highest paid Flames player EVER.
(I also think convincing Tkuchuk to stick to the Gudreau cap will be very hard.)
