You don't even know what you're mad about. NCR is not a factor in any of the cases in these two threads. What you should be upset about is the way we treat aboriginal offenders and in particular female aboriginal offenders differently at sentencing. It's often a case of giving shorter sentences instead of alternative sentences which we are mandated to do. I would not be surprised if Stephanie Favel received alternative sentencing at some point. And I wouldn't be surprised if she gets it this time as well. And the guy who shot the German tourist will also receive that consideration if he's convicted.
Just out of curiosity, do you think Jeffrey Dahmer or Ted Bundy would be found NCR here? Like what sort of behavior do you think an NCR verdict requires from the accused?
