Are you referring to a poll which after removing bot votes, was 42% strongly against (not the 60's you claim) and 21% strongly for? (as per CBCs website) ?
Much talk from these town hall meetings has been people looking for more information. It is the undecided vote which we do not know as a percentage to the entire vote so another point that tells us nothing. The yes people are at rallys and events. The no side has made their voice heard. The undecided are becoming more informed and at townhall events.
Now you go on to claim that because they have the polls and are not marketing them the way you would market them, they must be behind and desperate? Thats a desperate attempt to make them look desperate.
Your comments about the arena also hold no facts and is all opinion based. The money set aside to renovate the saddledome and money for a new 6,000 person arena comes very close to what CSSC asked for in the first place. As a posted mentioned after my post, it should come as no surprise that a deal is in place in terms of basics and if the yes goes ahead, they have to hammer out some more details.

It is opinion based to say that how I think public opinion will go. Shocker. But it's ridiculously illogical to assume the public was against the last City offer, but will somehow be less against a deal where the city gives even more public money. Consistency of logic says people will not be happy about that. Could it swing the other way? Frankly no, it can't. Would be extremely strange.

Why would they be desperate 6 months out from an election lol. The Yes side has to be desperate because the vote is in five days, timing matters obviously. If the UCP goes as hard as the Yes side has gone when April rolls around, we can talk desperation then.
