The map sure emphasizes the urban vs. rural/small town divide.
One thing that drives me nuts, and this is just as true in Canada, is that party majority gives them "control". I get that party affiliation is a good indicator of where someone's ideals lay, but I wish more politicians thought on their own without the automatic hive-like party loyalty when it comes to issues. Partisan politics always suck no matter who is in control of a legislative branch.
I do wonder if some House Republicans (or even Senators) who don't really like Trump, might be more inclined to cooperate with Democrats in Congress now that the Dems have control of the House and more power in Congress.
Too bad Richard Ojeda lost. His ads were quite compelling.
