It is a bigger margin than any of the last few “wave” elections in terms of raw votes. If this was a referendum on Trump, he lost. Big time.
Which of course means he will declare victory tomorrow, because of course he will. But let’s be clear: if 2020 looks like tonight, then he is a one term President.
