Every Stanley Cup winning team in the last decade has either had an Art Ross or Selke winning center except for Washington. They did, however, have two point-per-game centers and not to mention Oveckin who's sort of okay.
It's obviously great to have depth, and I'm not suggesting this is the NBA, but top tier talent still wins the Cup in this league.
You could do something similar with Lidstrom, Keith, Chara, Doughty to show that it's almost a requirement to have a Norris winner as well - assuming you don't have a couple generational forwards to make up for it.
