I was interested to see how Ricks story would end.
Was befuddled that there was no family nor Glenn appearance. What on earth?
Then for 30 seconds it felt like an ending, and then it wasn't (yay?), and then the next scene felt like a music video, then Judith is walking around shooting zombies and dropping one liners. Then there is a trailer montage, then the producers talking about feature films starring Rick, as if they were expecting everyone to collectively be gasping at the groundbreaking decision to expand a universe that is declining into boredom with TV movies now. Rick will be alive of course, but never cross with the main story line EVER, just because.
Just what a weird sequence of events that interrupts the flow of everything.
How does Rick fall forward into an explosion to end up in that river?
Execution was messy/unclear, and not in a good way where you really even want to know the answers. Really anticlimactic and head scratching overall.
What is the show building towards? I think it was personified in Rick this episode, wandering about half dead with unnecessary character interaction scenes that don't mean anything, and every so often kicking itself back into consciousness to keep itself alive a while longer.
