This is backwards^
The flames mistake was moving picks when they weren't a playoff team in hopes of becoming a playoff team.
Now that they are a playoff Calibre roster is the time to move picks.
Unfortunately, they arguably still need those picks to help push the roster over the edge by getting a dube/valimaki/Andersson in the next year or two while already a contender.
