I knew the send off for Rick would end that way so I wasn't surprised.

However my wife noticed something:

When they say the walkers have evolved, during that 3 minute "new episodes coming" at one point you watch 2 people scramble down the bank and cover themselves in mud. I had to rewind it but the walkers are actually SPEAKING. You can hear the walker say "Where are they" and the women covers her mouth after she hears it.

Interesting spin on what the walkers are becoming.

There's another theory but that'll be outside the TV parameters.
