Neal is as much of the core as Brodie and Frolik are imo, if we add Neal to the core then we have to add those two also.

Brodie and Frolik were part of the core 2-3 years ago but with less than 2 years on their deals remaining I would say they are on the outside looking in. Neal is paid top dollar and has 4 years left after this season. He was signed to be a core piece for at least the first couple years of that deal
