Interesting. If there is an expansion draft in 2020 for Seattle, it would mean the Preds would have to protect Rinne and expose Saros.

Remember that is IF. It is potentially a lockout year. Also possible that Rinne pulls a Fleury and waives his NMC for the expansion draft

Rinne has a modified NTC and NMC in each of the two years of his new contract. Same terms as his current protection: a 10-team trade list.
