Peyton had some players around him too. The problem is the Colts built the team the wrong way, they invested more in skill players than in trench players. If the Patriots should always be commended for anything, it's recognizing the value of the lines. Probably very few seasons since 2002 the Pats haven't had a top half of the league OLine and DLine. Packers have consistently had mediocre or worse lines on both sides during Rodgers. Rodgers escapability and on the run throwing helps overcome a lot of that.
Of course there's a common pill popping, alcohol swilling, open-mic night singing denominator in Luck and Peyton. Not exactly a great owner.
