Pulling off a 5-3 win
The game started off in doubt when Forsburgh swept into our zone and scored the games first goal 56 seconds in.
The Senators were able to rebound 5 minutes later when Marty Havlat took a cross ice pass from Sakic to beat a helpless Joseph.
The 2nd saw the Senators take the lead. Varda scored the go ahead goal 1:19 into the 2nd period and a nice passing play by Daigle.
Hartnell increased that lead 21 seconds later as Daigle again made a sweet pass to a Streaking Harntell who went in all alone on Joseph and beat him High blocker side.
Forsburgh scored his 2nd goal of the game late in the period to pull the Blues to within one
The 3rd saw the Blues Tie the game just over 3 minutes in. This was short lived however as Defensemen Todd Simpson scored his 2nd goal of the season.
Daigle scored his lines 3rd goal the insurance goal at the 10:05 mark of the period
This line was on fire tonight with Each player collecting a goal and 2 assists.
