I love standing at sporting events. Makes me feel like I'm part of it. Same with concerts.

Its easy to create an atmosphere, but it would cost the Flames money so it's of course out of the question. The three sections behind the Flames net should be general admission, standing room only terraces with plenty of access to beer. Something like $50/game, $75/premium game, $100/playoffs.

The rowdy, young 18-34 year old single guys that fill those sections would create enough of an atmosphere that the rest of the arena would feed off it. I think the regulars would naturally evovle into supporters group and all of a sudden you have more than just one chant you do. You can still have your fancy boxes and expensive seats, just less of them.

Again, I know this is 1000% out of the question.
